Mark has a new music composition that connects music to art. It is titled Slinging Paint.

The tune evolved spontaneously. It began when Will Kimble (a great mandolin luthier) dropped by to show Mark a distressed electric guitar he made. It inspired Mark to play vintage rock riffs that reminded him of slinging oil paint on canvas and searching for the right variety yet harmony of color notes. So, he began recording.

One track and instrument led to another. The harmonics at the end of Slinging Paint signify adding a signature to a painting. They were played using a Kimble mandola to complement the guitar. More information at MandoMusic.com.
